2nd Workshop, Task Committee E, UJNR

该奖项是为了支持美日自然资源合作计划（UNJR）任务委员会E第二次联合研讨会的支持。 第二次研讨会的目的是： (a) 继续就正在进行的风工程研究相互交换信息； (b) 鼓励并扩大先前就合作研究领域发起的对话； (c) 重点关注并确定合作研究的具体项目； (d) 参观日本选定的有关风对建筑物和公共工程影响的研究机构和项目。 该讲习班将于 1999 年 5 月下旬在日本筑波举行。

This award is for the support of the second joint Workshop of Task Committee E of the US/Japan Cooperative Program in Natural Resources (UNJR). The purpose of the second workshop are to: (a) continue to mutual exchange of information on ongoing wind engineering research; (b) encourage and extend the dialogue initiated previously on collaborative research areas; (c) focus and delineate specific projects for collaborative research; (d) visit selected research institutes and projects in Japan concerning wind effects on buildings and public works. The workshop will be held in Tsukuba, Japan in late May 1999.
