The state-of-the-art in Physicall Modelling of Musical Instruments is realized as a hardware solution to make this high-precision methods accessable to instrument builders, sound designers and musicians. The FPGA-Solution used here allows real-time simulation with highest precision not possible before. As this real-time calculation of complete instrument geometries is in the focus of many of the leading faculties around the world, and as this method is already working at the Institut of Musicology in Hamburg in a basic version, fast support is needed to make this method an international breakthrough.
