Support for Carbon Cycle Interagency Working Group Activities

The is a request on behalf of the Carbon Cycle Interagency Working Group to continue funding for scientific coordination activities for the carbon cycle interagency initiative in FY2002. These activities will include two meetings (April & December 2002) of the Carbon Cycle Scientific Steering Group, chaired by Chris Field, sponsorship of three workshops (an Integrated Assessment Modeling Workshop, a Data Assimilation Workshop, and a Methane Workshop), support for an Interim International Carbon Project, and support for a half time person to serve at the Carbon Cycle Program Office.
