This award provides funding for a 3-year standard award to support a Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) Site program at the University of Central Florida (UCF) entitled, "RET-Central Florida Space Science Institute (CFSSI)," under the direction of Dr. Ranganathan Kumar. This site will provide 30 K-12 teachers from the Central Florida area with an opportunity to participate in an 8-week summer program focused on space research, based on existing NSF and NASA projects.
