AbstractAward: DMS-0406078Principal Investigator: Bennett Chow, Peter Li, Zhiqin Lu, Lei NiThis award provides partial support for three years of meetingsof the Southern California Geometric Analysis Seminar, a seriesthat is organized by UC San Diego and UC Irvine and bringstogether researchers in geometric analysis and related topicsfrom those campuses, Caltech, UCLA, UC Riverside, UC SantaBarbara, USC, and other schools in the region. The organizersplace a priority on the participation of graduate students andrecent PhDs, especially members of underrepresented groups. TheSeminar meetings are the unique annual meeting of their kind inthe Southern California area, and this conference series has avaluable history of building connections between mathematiciansin the region.
