Student Support for a Gordon-Kenan Graduate Research Seminar

Professor Richard Crooks on behalf of the Gordon Research Conferences is supported by the Analytical and Surface Chemistry program to organize a new activity for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in Analytical Chemistry. For two days preceding the Analytical Chemistry Gordon Conference in Roscoff, France in June 2005, approximately 30 graduate students and postdocs will hold a meeting on the topic of the conference. The topic of the Gordon Conference is Miniaturization of Analytical Systems. This pre-meeting will give students a chance to exchange talks and posters, and to more seamlessly be integrated into the full meeting. Four senior scientists who previously served as chairs of this Gordon Conference will be present to serve as mentors.
