This project is a special supplement application connected to the already granted DFG project HA 5934/1-1 “Dünnschichtabscheidung von supraleitenden oxidischen Eisen-Arsenid-Verbindungen mittels gepulster Laserdeposition” on the synthesis and characterization of iron based superconducting pnictides thin films. The purpose of this supplement application is to assist and support other projects within the SPP with high quality thin films of these new superconductors as well as to study the weak link behaviour of grain boundaries of iron arsenide based superconducting pnictides to evaluate their applicability for potential high current applications.
