Abstract: 0614841This project provides travel funding for early career researchers to participate in the Fourth World Conference on Structural Control and Monitoring (4WCSCM), which will be held 11-13 July 2006 at the University of California, San Diego. This conference is the premier venue for the sharing of research results and applications in the growing interdisciplinary fields of structural control and health monitoring. The conference is sponsored by the International Association of Structural Control and Monitoring (IASCM) with collaboration from major engineering societies and many other organizations. The objective of the Conference is to facilitate the exchange of results from current research and application by bringing together engineers, scientists, architects, builders and others.
