Proposed improvements include support for deployment to grids beyond TeraGrid, support for Sun Grid Engine, OpenPBS, WSRF for web-service interoperability, support for IP tunneling for VPN environments, and adding a distributed file system. The intellectual merit includes a novel approach to bootstrapping a user's environment at an HPC cluster site and thereby providing an adaptive run-time environment for turning a physical subset of an HPC cluster into a personal Condor pool. Such capabilities significantly increase usability of TeraGrid resources and other resources in the context of the proposal.
