This is a small travel grant to facilitate the participation of Mr. Sandeep Chamling Rai's, Director of Climate Change and Energy Program WWF Nepal, travel to Alaska for the AAAS Arctic Science Conference. Mr. Rai is a Nepal researcher interested in partnering with researchers in the Arctic studying the social affects of Climate Change. This grant will give Mr. Chamling an opportunity to develop partnerships meet with other researchers and discuss the mutual goal of future interdisciplinary research comparing the changes in high latitude and high altitude environments and their associated social and cultural effects.
