This is the coordinator’s proposal for the SPP 1500. Note that this is not a research proposal. Rather, this proposal is intended to raise funds that serve all research projects within the SPP 1500. It is vital for the collaboration within the SPP that it enables through Mini-Workshops, Tutorials, Summer-Schools, Semi-annual Colloquia etc. Furthermore, administrative costs and infrastructure cost need to be covered.An additional vital part is the international exchange of research ideas. Therefore, this proposal also asks for funds for a visiting scientist for parts of this second phase (this has already been considered to be important in the initial proposal that led to this SPP).
