A budget of ¿ 190,000.00 (¿ 31,500.00 for personnel p.a.; ¿ 95,500.00 for coordinating activities) is requested for 3 years to coordinate the activities within the program project grant SPP1190 The tumor - vessel interface . As specified in detail below, these funds will be used 1.) to support a part time administrative manager to perform organizational and administrative duties within the program, 2.) to provide support to be used for scientific coordinating activities to stimulate scientific interactions and exchange within the program (subgroup meetings, teaching modules), and 3.) to support the hosting of closed and open scientific meetings (4 closed consortium meetings of the SPP1190 [early 2006, early 2007, early 2008, Summer/Fall 2008], 1 public international meeting [Fall 2007], and 1 Young Investigator Meeting [Spring 2007]). Collectively, the requested funds will amount to approximately 3% of the total budget of the SPP and will be used to implement a lively and Interactive network of research within the SPP.
