Waiting. Exploring a social phenomenon of everyday life

该项目打算从社会学和跨文化角度研究等待这一在埃塞俄比亚生活中无所不在的现象。除了对日常生活社会学的重要性之外，对等待的探索还涉及到时间、空间和社会秩序等基本方面。实证研究主要关注文化社会学和知识社会学方面。它从解释社会学的角度看待它的主题，使用定性方法（扎根理论方法和社会科学解释学）。

The project intends a sociological, cross-cultural study of waiting as an omnipresent phenomenon of quotidian life. Beyond its importance for a sociology of everyday life, an exploration of waiting refers to fundamental aspects like time, space and social order. The empirical study is mainly interested in aspects that concern the sociolgy of culture and the sociology of knowledge. It regards its subject from the perspective of an Interpretive Sociology, using qualitative methods (Grounded Theory Method and Socio-Scientific Hermeneutics).
