Field investigations of granulite-facies supracrustal assemblage on the farm Klein Bolay, Central Zone of the Limpopo Belt, South Africa, followed by zircon dating, petrological characterization as well as Sm-Nd whole-rock and Hf-in-zircon isotopic characteristics with the aim to establish the age, petrogenesis and metamorphic evolution of these rocks The overall purpose is to elucidate the previously ill-defined Archaean metamorphic history of the Central Zone.
