This project should be seen in the context of the first part of the main phase of the National Digital Library and Bibliography of German 18th century imprints (¿Digitization and Cataloguing of Printed Material Published in the 18th Century in the German-Speaking Areas¿). The aim of the project is the digitization of 7.000 18th century imprints and 500 journal volumes of the University and State Library Sachsen-Anhalt. The digital publications will incorporate structural data which will facilitate the usability of the publications on the Internet. The digital imprints will be provided in permanent open access via various national and international databases for the purpose of study and research.
