The aim of the cooperative project is to digitize 3.400 imprints of the University and Regional Library of Sachsen-Anhalt, 1.700 imprints of the Library of the Francke Foundations as well as 1.000 imprints of the Marienbibliothek (a total of 6.100 imprints with approx. 718.000 pages) within 22 months. The digital publications will incorporate structural data which will facilitate the usability of the publications on the Internet. The digital imprints will be provided in permanent open access via various national and internationale databases for the purpose of study and research.
