Since the funding of the project in the frame of the SPP 1209 has ended, the work on the final publications comes near its end. This writing progress yielded new results which make a revision and completion of the documentation necessary. This affects especially the temple of Hemithea at Kastabos which due to its close formal relations to monumental buildings of the 4th c. BC (Maussolleion of Halikarnassos, temple of Athena at Priene, temple of Zeus at Labraunda) now has to be dated earlier than previously assumed. Hence the Hekatomnid period achieves an increased importance, especially in relation to the following Hellenistic period when the Karian Chersonesos was part of the Rhodian Peraia.The team members, especially the six PhD students working on the bulk of the material, need some complementary measurements and drawings and a complementary documentation of finds in the Marmaris Museum in order to finish their respective theses. Therefore, a three-week-season in the field and a two-week season in the Marmaris museum are necessary.
