Pultrusion, as a continuous production process of composite profils becomes more important because of the growing areas of application of composite materials. To minimize the rejection rate in the pultrusion process at high process speed, both the position of the mandrel and the cure of the resin must be measured during the whole process and if necessary regulated. In the research project, an inline sensor technology which allows continuous monitoring of the whole process is going to be developed. The production speed of the process can thus be optimized maintaining an excellent precision and material variant levels.
