项目摘要

古代エジプトにおける食糧以外の供物を死者へ捧げる「器物奉献儀礼」の展開（古王国・中王国・新王国時代）を解明すべく、当該年度は主に図像・文字資料の集成と分析を行った。すでに研究を進めてきた中王国時代に関しては、オブジェクト・フリーズと呼ばれる棺装飾の集成済資料をもとに、「王権の象徴」という一群の器物について、図像表現とその文字ラベル（銘文）の対応関係、棺上の描写傾向を分析した。そして、中王国時代において複数種類ある器物奉献儀礼のうち、「王権の象徴」を捧げる儀礼は他とは異なる描写傾向があることを明らかにした。具体的には、他の器物奉献儀礼は地域を超えた典礼として確立されていった一方、「王権の象徴」を捧げる儀礼はごく一部の遺跡から出土した少数の棺にのみ描かれ、全地域的には実践されず当時の社会的地位の再生産にも利用されていなかったことが分かった。また、古王国から中王国時代における器物奉献儀礼の展開を復元するために、墓の埋葬室内に描かれた最初期のオブジェクト・フリーズの集成も進めた。そして、最初期のオブジェクト・フリーズは、これまで指摘されてきた以上に古王国時代のピラミッド・テキストの影響を受けていることを指摘した。新王国時代の検討としては、器物奉献儀礼の場面を描いた壁画の集成を進めるとともに、そこに表された内容を中王国時代のオブジェクト・フリーズと比較し、共通点・相違点を抽出した。当該期については研究の基礎を構築している段階であり、今後も分析・考察を深めていく予定である。また、第二中間期における様相も棺装飾などから検討する必要がある。今後は、中王国時代を軸としながらも、その前後の時代の器物奉献儀礼について多角的な研究を進め、儀礼の変遷とその背景を明らかにしていく。器物奉献儀礼の長期的な展開を追った研究は管見に触れず、古代エジプトの葬送文化を新たな視点で捉えられる本研究の意義は大きい。

The New Kingdom era's discussion and sacrifice ceremony scene, the integration of murals, the content of Meng Wubo era's discussion and sacrifice ceremony scene, the common point and the contradiction point are extracted. When this period, the foundation of research, the stage, the future, the analysis, the investigation, the depth, the predetermined stage The second intermediate period is necessary for decoration. From now on, the study of the axis of Meng Wubo's era and the ritual of the era before and after will be carried out in various ways. The significance of this study is to explore the long-term development of objects and ceremonies, and to explore the new perspectives of ancient culture.
