项目摘要

本研究は、木骨煉瓦造建造物を対象として、日本近代における西洋由来の建築構法の変遷とそのメカニズムを明らかにすることを目的としている。したがって、資料調査および建造物現地調査を、日本国内と海外とで行う必要がある。しかしながら、当該年度は新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により、国内においても海外においても現地調査を取り止めざるを得ない状況が続いた。そこで、2021年度においてはそれまでの国内調査の成果から新たに分析を行い、9月の2021年度日本建築学会大会(関東)で「木骨煉瓦造の蔵にみる日本近代における輸入構法の解釈に関する一考察」を発表した。本発表は、近代日本における西洋由来の建築構法の解釈の一類型として蔵を分析したものであり、木骨煉瓦造が日本の伝統的な蔵と融合していることを示した。予算の一部を翌年に繰り越し、2022年度には延期していた旧富岡製糸場(群馬県富岡市)および旧羅典神学校を中心とするド・ロ神父関連遺構(長崎県長崎市)の実測調査を実施した。この国内調査での結果とそれまでの研究成果とを合わせて分析を行った。また、横須賀製鉄所に関する現存資料の調査を実施し、国内最初期の木骨煉瓦造建造物の構法的な特徴を整理した。さらに、日本国内の木骨煉瓦造建造物の修理手法の特徴と課題について「THE PRESENT STATE AND ISSUES ON RETROFITTING OF HISTORIC TIMBER-FRAMED BRICK CONSTRUCTION BUILDINGS IN JAPAN」にまとめ、World Conference Timber Construction2023に応募し、採択された。

This study aims to explore the changes in architectural structure of modern Japan from the Western origin to the present. Data survey, on-site survey of construction, domestic and overseas travel In the current year, the impact of new types of infectious diseases in China and overseas has been investigated. In September 2021, at the 2021 Japan Architectural Society Conference (Kanto),"An investigation into the development of wood and tile manufacturing and the solution of input structure in modern Japan" was presented. This paper presents a type of analysis of architectural structure of western origin in modern Japan, and shows the fusion of wood and tile construction with Japanese tradition. A part of the project is expected to be completed in the following year and in fiscal 2022. The survey will be carried out at the Old Tomioka System Center (Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture) and the Old Raden School Center (Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture). The results of this domestic investigation are analyzed in detail. In addition, the investigation of existing data related to Yokosuka Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was carried out, and the structural characteristics of the first period of wood and tile construction in China were sorted out. In addition,"THE PRESENT STATE AND ISSUES ON RETROFITTING OF HISTORIC TIMBER-FRAMED BRICK CONSTRUCTION BUILDINGS IN JAPAN" was published in the "Characteristics and Issues of Repair Methods for Wooden and Brick Structures in Japan" and "World Conference Timber Construction2023."
