初年度に立てた指針に基づき、各自が研究を遂行した。すなわち、最終年度での各自の研究成果の報告ならびにその後の活字化を中心的な目標に据え、年度内に2回研究会を開催し、そこで各自の進捗および研究内容を報告した。加えて、全体の進行等に関する打ち合わせはメールやオンライン会議で随時開催し、相互理解と調整を図っている。また、外部協力者との意見交換、共同研究の推進を目指し、12月に研究協力者の金杭教授（延世大学）を招き、研究会を開催した。研究会では金氏が近代朝鮮半島および大韓民国における技術観について報告し、３０－４０年代の日本の技術論の影響や、それとの相違点などについて討議、検討した。あわせて、各自が技術思想に関連する領域での研究を進め、成果を発表・報告した。そのうち代表的なものとして、人種概念の浸透を扱ったTomohito Baji, “An Apex of the Racialization of the World”、日本のマルクス主義とも呼応するグラムシの国家論を論じたTakahiro Chino, "The Modern State and Future Society: Gramsci's Two Conceptions of the "Ethical State'、事務機械の技術について論じた新倉貴仁 「事務機械の歴史社会学的研究に向けて」や、小林秀雄の「もの」観における創発性を論じたNobutaka Otobe ““The way to things”: contentions over materiality and politics in the non-west between Kobayashi Hideo and Maruyama Masao”などがある。

In the early years, the foundation was established, and the research was carried out separately. Report on the results of the respective research in the final year, and report on the progress of the respective research in the future. The meeting is open at any time, and mutual understanding is adjusted. In December, Professor Jin Hang (Yonsei University) invited external collaborators to exchange views and promote joint research. The seminar will discuss and examine the impact of technology on modern Korea and the Republic of Korea in the 1930s and 1940s.
