项目摘要

研究実績となる学術論文は「『日本広東学習新語書』の人称代詞複数形と訓読について」神田外語大学『日本研究所紀要』第15号（2023年3月、pp.171-177.）である。『日本広東学習新語書』（神田外語大学所蔵、以下『新語書』とする）は、清末の1899-1900年にかけて台湾で編集された、主として商業交易上必要な語彙・会話文を収録した資料である。本研究では『新語書』収録の語彙・語文すべてをEXCELに入力したDATABASEに基づき、その語音・語文について研究を進めている。『新語書』には本研究申請時に用意した『華英通語』（大阪大蔵咸豊本1849年刊・狩野文庫蔵1855年刊・哈佛大蔵本1860刊、福澤増訂本1860年刊）と収録語彙・語文中に商業交易上特有の共通性を認めることが出来ると同時に、中国東南方言音を母胎とする資料に現れ得る「訓読例」も認定できる。それ故に『華英通語』音訳漢字が内包する「訓読」例を探るための有用性を認め、考察対象に加えた。実績論文ではこの具体的事例を考察対象として分析し、結果の一部を報告した。代表者が取り組むデータベース：「『海国図志』地名音訳DATABASE」については、アルバイト学生の助力を得て7277条の地名についてその対音入力を済ませている。同資料は英国人Hugh Murrayに由り1834年に編纂された‘An Encyclopedia of Geography’を、林則徐（1785-1850）の命を受けた梁進徳（1820-1865頃）らが漢訳し『四州志』と称されたが、後に魏源（1794-1853）編『海国図志』に収録された。本研究では岳麓書社刊『海国図志』（2004年版）収録の『四州志』を底本に採用した。脱鼻音化を顕著に認めることが出来ている。分担者担当の『正續天路歴程』（官話版・土話版の対照版）DATABASEも入力は既に完成している。
