２０２２年度は、中国語のスルーシング構文に関する文献調査を引き続き行い、また必要に応じてインフォーマント調査を実施することを計画していた。中国語のスルーシング構文に生じる「是（shi）」という焦点辞と焦点として解釈される要素との間の語順が重要なので、この点について中国語統語論の歴史的変異に関する文献を調査した。また、「是（shi）」と類似すると思われる「把（ba）」や「被（bei）」についても語順の歴史的変異に関する文献を調べた。いずれも現在文献を精査中である。これまで確認した文献によると、語順の歴史的変異には音韻論上の要因が関与していることが述べられており、このことをどのようにラベリング理論と関係づけることができるのかが当面の考察対象である。さらに、中国語における「是（shi）」が生じる焦点化構文との対比という観点から、やはり節の左方周縁部に焦点辞が現れる西アフリカ・ブルキナファソなどで話される言語の一つであるダガラ語の研究も研究助手のサポートを受けながら継続して実施した。ダガラ語ではスルーシング構文と考えられる構文に焦点辞が出現すること、焦点辞がその指定部に移動する焦点として解釈される要素との間で数の一致を起こすことなど、省略と句構造に関する理論やラベリング理論にとって示唆的な現象を確認することができた。現在は、研究助手を務めてくれたダガラ語研究者と共著論文を執筆中であり、２０２３年度中に学術雑誌に投稿することを計画している。
