项目摘要

本研究は、日本の中等・高等教育の韓国語教室においてオンラインによる異文化間交流協同学習(Virtual Exchanges、以下、VE）があまり活用されていない理由は何か、韓国語のように国際公用語ではない外国語教室においても、VEを積極的に導入した異文化間交流協同学習は可能なのか、もし日本の韓国語教育でもVEを活用した交流協同学習が可能であるとしたら、今後VEの教授的実践を希望する韓国語教師を効果的に支援し韓国語教育の場で積極的に活用していくためにはどのような支援を行う必要があるのか、という学際的背景と問いから出発した。このような問いに基づいて、今年度は日本の韓国語学習者にとって主な交流パートナである韓国の日本語学習者を支援する研究者や実践家との交流、及びインタビューを通して、韓国におけるVEの現状及び今後日韓間のVEを活発にしていくために必要な課題について共に考察する場を設けた。特に、今年度は韓国で中等教育の場で日本語教育に携わっている教師を支援するオンライン・プラットフォーム、「JTAオンライン教師会」の運営者に訪ねインタビューを行い、「JTAオンライン教師会」の歩み及び運営形態について学ぶ時間を設けた。なお、すでに構築されているこのようなオンライン・コミュニティ（オンライン・プラットフォーム）を今後のVEの活性化に向けてどのように活用していくかという新たな課題について考察し、日本の中等教育に携わっている韓国語教師とのVE交流に向けて、合同オンライン・プラットフォームを構築する計画について話し合った。今後、韓国の韓国語教育・日本語教育に携わっている研究者・教員らを中心に、VEの実践と活性化に向けて継続してニーズ調査及び分析を行うとともに、持続可能で活用度の高いオンライン・プラットフォームの構築に向けて、海外の事例も参照しながら研究を続けていきたい。
