企業の非利潤最大化行動に関して、近年最も重要な問題となっている企業の環境的な社会貢献活動に関して分析を行った。環境問題でもっとも重要な問題の一つが地球温暖化問題であることは疑いない。これに関連して、近年企業の目的関数に影響を与えるものとして競争政策などの観点からも注目を集めているcommon ownershipと企業の自主的な排出量削減活動の関連を分析した。この結果、common ownershipの程度が小さいときに、この増加は企業の排出量削減投資を増加させることがあるが、この程度が大きいときには、さらなるcommon ownershipの程度の増加は必ず排出削減投資を減少させることを明らかにした。一方common onwershipは、生産量の減少を通じた排出量削減を加速させるため、結果的にcommon onwershipは企業の排出量を削減することを明らかにした。この成果をまとめた論文がはエネルギー経済分野のトップジャーナルであるEnergy Economicsに掲載された。この成果は企業の2つの非利潤最大化行動の関連を明らかにする成果でもある。また関連して電力市場における電源選択と環境税の関係を分析した論文がResource and Energy Economicsに掲載された。また非利潤最大化行動を企業が戦略的に選ぶモデルの分析もすすめ、価格競争と数量競争の同値性が、限界費用が逓増だと成り立たないこと、数量競争が価格競争よりも激しい競争となることを明らかにし、更に分析を混合寡占市場にも拡張した論文が、Economic Modellingに掲載された。これも企業の2つの非利潤最大化行動の関連に光を当てる成果でもある。企業が商品価値を高めるためにCSR活動に従事する場合の調達行動を分析した研究を行い、この成果がJournal of Economicsに掲載された。
