本研究の目的は、自然災害の多い国として知られているインドネシアを事例に、自然災害がリスク選好や時間選好といった個人の経済的選好に与えた影響を探ることにある。この目的を達成するため、本研究では最初に、インドネシア政府が定期的に収集している家計調査（Susenas）や村レベルのセンサスデータ（Podes）といった個票データと、米国のRAND研究所が収集・公開している家計パネルデータ（IFLS）とを組み合わせたデータセットの構築を行う必要がある。2022年度は前年度にひきつづき、このデータセット構築作業に取り組んだ。Podesは基本的に3年に一回の頻度で、約8万にのぼる最末端の行政単位である村・区レベルのさまざまな情報を収集しており、自然災害情報も入手することができる。研究目的の遂行のためには、この自然災害情報を経済的選好データが含まれるIFLSデータとマッチングする必要性があるが、後者は村のひとつ上の行政単位である郡レベルでしか位置情報が明らかとされていない。IFLSデータにはサンプルとなっている家計が属する約300のコミュニティについての詳細な調査結果も含まれているため、このコミュニティの属性を用いてPodesデータとのマッチング作業を進めた。次いで、きわめてシンプルな分析枠組みのもとで、暫定的な推計作業にも着手した。IFLSに含まれる情報をもとに先行研究にならって危険回避度を計算し、2007年から2014年にかけての危険回避度の変化をみたところ、自然災害が観察された村・区の居住者は危険回避度が高くなる傾向がみられた。今後はこの暫定的な分析結果の頑健性などを確認する予定である。

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of natural disasters on the selection of natural disasters and their impact on the selection of natural disasters. To achieve this goal, this study is necessary for the initial, ongoing government surveys (Susenas), community services (Podes), and RAND Research Institute of the United States to organize community services (IFLS). In 2022, compared with the previous year, the construction work was organized. The purpose of the study is to select the appropriate information for the implementation of natural disasters. The detailed investigation results of IFLS include the following: 1. IFLS contains information on risk avoidance calculation from 2007 to 2014, and natural disasters are detected in villages and districts with high risk avoidance. In the future, the robustness of the provisional analysis results will be confirmed.
