地域を基盤とし、子どもとその家族を主体とした支援のためのチームアプローチであるラップアラウンドの日本実装の素地づくりを目的として、調査研究を継続した。ラップアラウンドにおいて重要な役割を果たすピアサポーターの役割の理解促進を中心にして2022年度は、①ピアサポーターやピアサポーターと協働する日米の支援現場のフィールドワークとインタビュー調査を検討していたが、新型コロナの影響により出張が制限され、現地を訪れてのフィールドワークはほぼできなかった。2023年2月になり、米国でピアサポーターとして活動する社会的養護の当事者が来日した際に、インタビュー調査を行うことができた。この調査から支援者自身の価値観に気付くこと、支援者が当事者理解を深めることの重要性を再認識できた。②ラップアラウンドの理念を支援現場に周知する取り組みを継続することで、ラップアラウンドに興味関心を示す自治体や団体が増え、ラップアラウンドの研修を行う機会を多く得られた。また書籍『日本の児童相談所　子ども家庭支援の現在・過去・未来』（明石書店）、『子ども虐待を防ぐ養育者支援　脳科学、臨床から社会制度まで』（岩崎学術出版社）において日本の現状とラップアラウンドの紹介と日本における必要性を著した。③2023年2月に米国のピアサポーターによる支援者向けの研修会「子ども・若者・家族と支援者がパートナーシップを結ぶために」を実施した。④ラップアラウンドについて支援者向けに実施したオンライン対話会におけるアンケートの分析を行った結果を子ども家庭福祉学会で発表した。日本子ども虐待防止学会においては、ラップアラウンドの理念を導入することで起こってくる支援のあり方の変化についてシンポジウムを行った。
