项目摘要

わが国では地域包括ケアシステム推進のもと、地域づくりを活性化するために多くの施策が展開されている。しかし、特別豪雪地帯や過疎地域には、地域づくりの担い手や限りある資源における様々な課題が報告されている。本研究は、このような課題をふまえ、地域の担い手としてまちづくりに長く貢献してきた高齢女性のまちづくりの経験とそれに伴う思いを、質的研究デザインのもと明らかにすることを目的とする。本研究の意義は、積雪寒冷の中山間地域のまちに長く暮らしてきた高齢女性の地域活動の経験や個人の思いを掘り起こし、その土地ならでは、ひいては同様の背景を持つ町村における地域づくりへの手がかりを得ることにある。それは、時代の変遷によっても変わらないまちづくりに対する普遍的な価値観を明らかにすると同時に、時代の変遷による新たな価値との対比的考察の手がかりとなる。さらには、高齢女性がわが町で生きてきた自身を振り返り、コミュニティにおける生きがいや居場所としての認識を新たにする契機となり得る。またその言語化の機会を経て、自己効力感や自尊感情の側面から心身の健康づくりに役立つ可能性を有するものである。2022年度は、研究計画に則り8地域を対象地域として選定した。研究依頼手続きを経て研究協力の同意が得られた7人を対象者として半構造化インタビューを実施し、逐語録を作成している。2023年度においては、選定済みの対象地域へ研究協力依頼を実施・継続する計画である。対象者が得られない場合には、その都度、次の対象地域へ研究協力依頼を実施する。併せて、取得済みのインタビューデータと共に、分析を進める計画である。
