项目摘要

本研究では、小学校及び中学校の教諭の養成の一環として実施されている介護等体験に着目し、その実施状況を把握し、また介護等体験が学生の障害者や高齢者への理解に与える教育効果を検証する。これらの結果をもとに障害者や高齢者への理解の促進に効果的な介護等体験の実施方法を提案することを目的とする。まず、介護等体験の実施状況を把握するためにこれまでに実施してきた介護等体験を受け入れている社会福祉施設ならびに学生を送り出す大学への調査の結果を再分析した。結果、施設への調査の分析の結果、1）介護等体験は多くの施設職員に肯定的に評価されていること、2）介護等体験は施設の地域化や利用者の社会経験の機会提供という効果をもたらしていること、3）他の種類の施設と比べて児童関係施設や知的障害児・者関係施設でデメリットやトラブルが多く指摘されてことが明らかとなった。また、大学への調査の分析の結果、事前指導は全ての大学で実施されており、その中で、介護等体験の意義や目的に触れられているものの、学生の実習に対する意識の低さや準備不足がトラブルとして指摘されており、事前指導だけでは一部の学生の実習への意欲を十分に喚起できていないことが明らかとなった。次に、介護等体験に参加した学生ならびに一般学生を対象として、潜在連合テスト（パソコンによるIATテスト、FUMIE テスト）、身体障害者に対する態度(ATDP) の調査を実施した。介護等体験に参加した学生には聞き取り調査も実施した。結果については現在分析中であるが、介護等体験前に障害者に対する潜在的態度が否定的であった学生は、介護等体験後に潜在的態度が肯定的に変化する傾向がみられた。
