2年目の本年度は、初年度と同様にコロナ禍にあったため、新規の史料収集はできなかった。そのため、収集済みの資料を整理し、研究を進めた。「華北占領期青島の小中学生日本語作文に見る日本語教育」（『新世紀人文学論究』7号、2023年2月）では、華北占領期青島における日本語教育の実態について、主に『青島教育半月刊』所収の日本語作文を通じて明らかにしてきた。その結果、以下の知見を得た。第1に、青島における日本語教科書と教授法を明らかにした。第2に、中等学校生徒の作文には、日本側のスローガンを多用することで日本側に「忖度」し、「望まれた」姿を描写する「優等生」的な作文があったが、直接式教授法による教育実践が失敗した事例もあったことを明らかにした。「日中戦争期青島で実施された記念式典-中華民国臨時政府と華北政務委員会の記念日を中心に」（『アジア教育史研究』32号、2023年3月）では、華北政務委員会管轄下の青島を事例に、教育の側面からその特徴を探った。その結果、2点を明らかにした。第1に、記念日は華北政務委員会は中華民国国民政府としての正統性をアピールするねらいがあった。第2に、祝賀行事は、現地の中国人、特に生徒たちに日本への「感謝」を強要するイベントとして機能した。他に、「帝国日本の修身教育－「対日協力政権」の「愛国」をめぐって－」（『道徳教育の地図を描く理論・制度・歴史から方法・実践まで』教育評論社、2022年）では、中華民国臨時政府という帝国日本の教育を取り上げ、「愛国」の観点からナショナリティを通じて「道徳的価値」について考えた。
