项目摘要

本研究の２年目となる2022年度は、以下の研究活動を実施した。（１）前年度に引き続き、米国における教育プログラムの分類コードである「CIP (Classification of Instructional Programs)」の最新バージョン（The 2020 CIP）の変更点に関する分析を行なった。また、カナダにおける教育プログラムの分類コード「CIP Canada 2016」との比較分析を開始した。（２）米国の大学に勤務するIR（Institutional Research）担当者に、メールでインタビューを行い、最新バージョンの一つ手前である「The 2010 CIP」との互換性や、「データ集計」および「レポーティング」等に及ぼした影響等について、意見を伺った。これは、研究代表者が米国の大学にIR担当者として勤務し始めた時が丁度「The 2000 CIP」から「The 2010 CIP」への転換期であり、当時、学内で運用していたデータベースの仕様変更等、様々な問題が起きたことから、当初の研究計画には無かったが、急遽追加したものである。（３）本研究では、CIPにおける大分類である「01: 農学に関連する分野」を主たる研究対象としているが、「2010 CIP」および「2020 CIP」に関して、日本の大学で農学の博士号を取得した研究協力者と共に、米国CIPを日本で直接運用できるかについて、分野ごとの「詳細な」検討を開始した。また、一研究者からの意見だけではなく、農学における他分野の研究者や、日本の大学におけるマネジメント層（例えば、農学部長）へのインタビューも必要ではないか、との結論に至り、これを、2023年度に実施することとした。（4）CIPの重要性について、IRに関する講演や、研究代表者がディレクターを担当しているIR履修証明プログラム等で情報提供を開始した。
