项目摘要

R4年度はコロナ禍の影響もやや収束しつつある中、英国を訪問した。調査において、特にDfMAを推進している設計・エンジニアリング事務所6社を訪問した。中でも、DfMAが最も適応されているPPVC（Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction）の設計に携わった設計事務所4社にヒアリングを行い、文献調査だけではなかなか確認できないプロジェクトの運用状況などについて具体的に確認することができた。この内容は、R5年度の建築生産シンポジウムで発表予定である。R3年9月より日本建築学会建築社会システム本委員会建築生産小委員会の主査として、建築生産シンポジウムや建築生産セミナーの企画立案および実施に関わっている。特にR4年度の「設計と施工の協働をさぐる」というタイトルの建築生産セミナーにおいては、4名の発表を通じて、設計者や施工者の役割が変化しつつある中、DfMAの特徴の一つである施工情報のフロントローディングを行う事例について情報共有することができた。R3年より参加しているアーキテクト／ビルダー（「建築の設計と生産」）研究会（コーディネーター：布野修司＋安藤正雄＋斉藤公男）では、「これからを担う若手建築家の活動と実践」や「建築家として生きるー職業としての建築家の社会学」といった企画にて、コメンテーターとして参加したが、設計者の役割として、DfMA的思考をある程度実践する必要があることを学ぶとともに、情報発信を行った。東京大学工学部建築学科権藤智之研究室主催の勉強会では、香港におけるDfMAの取り組みについて研究している香港大学博士課程の学生と意見交換を行った。DfMAに関心の深い香港に足掛かりができたため、今後さらなる研究につながると考えている。
