今年度は、大山隠岐国立公園内の大山を対象として、（１）大山における山岳観光と山岳資源の保全・環境活動の変遷、（２）大山の山岳遭難事故の変遷、（３）大山の登山道整備関係者の意識調査を実施した。（１）大山は1936年に国立公園に登録され、避難小屋の新設や登山道の整備が進むとともに登山口付近の大山寺参道周辺で観光開発が進められ、宿泊施設や大型駐車場、スキー長等の観光開発が進んだ。1950年代から1970年代にかけて観光拡大の反面、山頂部の土壌侵食、裸地化が進み、1960年代後半から地域住民や関係者有志などで構成された「大山保勝会」「大山を美しくする会」「大山の自然を守る会」、1980年代にこれらを統合する「大山の美化を推進する会」、本会を再編した「大山の山頂を保護する会」が結成され、「一木一石運動」と頂上裸地エリアへの植栽が開始された。本研究では、行政、環境系財団法人、博物館、民間事業者、教育関係者等に聞き取り調査を実施し、その変遷と書く活動の特性について明らかにした。（２）大山遭難防止協会が記録した1937年から1998年の遭難事故データ285件、及び鳥取県・鳥取県警が記録した2009年から2021年の遭難事故データ230件を収集した。また、登山客が多い夏山登山道及び行者登山道について、ウェアラブルカメラで登山道撮影を実施し、地形条件や景観、植生、登山道の整備状況等と事故発生の関係性について明らかにした。（３）公園指導員、自然保護ボランティア、山岳会等、大山に関わる多様な団体に所属する21人を対象に調査を行い、観光振興、山岳整備、ガイド、環境保護等の活動内容、及び現在の大山の環境保全活動の課題、登山道整備の在り方、遭難事故防止活動、観光振興の方向性に関して調査し、ポジショナリティによって異なる意識の差異を明らかにした。

This study is aimed at investigating the characteristics of the activities of government, environmental, financial institutions, museums, private businesses, and educational institutions. (2) The Mountain Disaster Prevention Association recorded 285 disaster incidents from 1937 to 1998 and 230 disaster incidents from 2009 to 2021. The relationship between the occurrence of accidents and the implementation of mountain climbing trails, terrain conditions, landscape conditions, vegetation, and the state of preparation of mountain climbing trails (3) 21-person survey on park instructors, nature conservation activities, mountain clubs, mountain related multi-species, mountain revitalization activities, mountain preparation activities, environmental protection activities, etc., as well as research on current mountain environmental preservation activities, mountain path preparation activities, disaster prevention activities, and direction of mountain revitalization activities. The difference in consciousness between the two is obvious.
