本研究課題3年目に当たる2022年度には、オリヴァー・ゼンセン「人権の根拠としての自律」とライナー・フォアスト「人権の意味と基礎」の邦訳を公刊した（どちらも『カントと人権』（法政大学出版局）所収）。本研究には、カント実践哲学における自律を現代の自律研究のなかで活かすという内容が含まれる。ゼンセンの論文では、人権論という文脈の中で、現代哲学における自律とカント哲学における自律は異なるという認識のもと、カント的自律が現代においてどのような有益な視点をもたらしうるかが論じられている。本研究もまた、現代哲学における自律とカント的自律の差異についての認識をゼンセンの論文と共有し、そのうえで現代の自律理論の中でカント的自律を活かす方法を探るものである。したがって、ゼンセンの論文の邦訳は、本研究にとって同趣旨の先行研究として有用である。ゼンセンは、現在のカント研究において、とくにその尊厳論が注目を集めている研究者である。この邦訳は、ゼンセンの文献の初邦訳であるゆえに、ゼンセンの仕事を日本語圏の哲学研究者に紹介するという意味をももつ。本研究には、自律を中心としたフォアストの人権論の批判的検討が内容として含まれている。フォアストの論文の邦訳では、人権がどのように理解されるべきかについての主張がフォアスト哲学の中心概念である「正当化への基礎的権利」との関連で明確になされており、さらに、この人権のフォアスト的構想がどのように自律と結びついているかも説明されている。したがって、この邦訳は本研究におけるフォアスト人権論の批判的検討にとっての重要な基礎的資料となる。フォアストは現在世界的に注目を集める哲学者であるが、邦訳された文献はまだ少ない（本邦訳以外には2本の論文の翻訳のみが出版されている）ゆえに、本邦訳はフォアスト研究に資するという点でも有益である。
