今年度は、現代社会が抱える問題に通用することを目指した、想像力の概念を基軸とした物語的自我に関する哲学的理論を構築するために、物語的自我のヒューム主義がどのような立場であり、それがどのような意義をもつのかを想像力の概念に着目して明らかにする予定だったが、研究代表者の体調不良により研究継続が困難となったため、1年間での研究廃止となった。以下、今年度の研究成果について報告する。本研究の目的は、現代の分析的自我論において、これまで繰り返し言及されてきたにもかかわらず、その重要性が適切に評価されてこなかったヒューム主義の理論がもつ意義と可能性を明らかにすることにある。この目的を達成するため、今年度は自我に関するヒュームの見解を「物語的自我のヒューム主義」として合理的に再構成することを試みた。その一環として、まず、2020年7月には「物語的自我をめぐって」というオンライン形式のワークショップを主催した。その結果として、物語的自我という概念をめぐる哲学的議論の射程だけでなく、自我論と応用倫理学的主題（例えば、精神医療におけるナラティブアプローチなど）との繋がりも確認することができた。また、合理的に再構成されたヒューム主義という立場が倫理学に対して持つ含意を確かめるため、2021年3月には現代倫理学におけるヒューム主義の位置づけについて検討する論文を発表した。今後の課題として、想像力に関する現代の哲学的議論のさらなる検討、また、ヒューム主義以外の分析的自我論との比較検討が挙げられる。

This year, we have established a philosophical theory that is universal to the problems faced by modern society, the concept of imagination is the foundation and the self of the story, and the doctrine of the self of the story has changed its position, the meaning of the concept of imagination has been clearly defined, and the research representative has a poor tone. This makes research difficult. A year's research has been carried out. The following is a report on this year's research results. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the significance and possibility of modern analytical self-theory. The goal is to achieve this goal, and this year's self-related insights,"language of self-organization" and reasonable re-organization. In July 2020, the "self of the story" and the "form of the story" were promoted. The result is that the concept of the self in the language of things has a range of philosophical arguments (e.g., the theme of applied ethics). In March 2021, a paper on the position of ethics in modern ethics was presented. The future topic is the discussion of modern philosophical theories concerning imagination and the comparative discussion of analytical theories other than realism.
