项目摘要

本研究は、日本語社会が言語的側面から情報操作の影響を受けやすい社会であることを示すものである。2022年度は、①情報操作に関する先行研究を整理する、②日本語社会における情報操作の事例を示す、③「仮説1:日本語社会は、ことばと特定の印象との結びつきが他言語社会より強い」「仮説2:日本語社会は、発信者が悪印象を伴うことばで対象のふるまいを表した場合、受信者が対象に抱く印象が悪化する度合が他言語社会より大きい」「仮説3:日本語社会は、発信者が悪印象を伴うことばで対象のふるまいを表した場合、受信者が同様に悪印象を伴うことばで対象を表現する確率が他言語社会より高い」の一部を検証する、の3つを行った。②は、「野党は批判ばかり」という言説に関する日本の国会会議録、新聞記事の分析から、この言説が与党議員の発言を受け、これを野党議員が否定し、有権者がこの言説を肯定する報道が増えることで一般的に広まるという過程を示した。③の仮説1は、中国語原文の小説の日・英・露訳の比較、日本語原文の小説の中国語訳の比較により検証した。その結果、日本語の「つきまとう」「うろつく」などは、動作の表現自体が否定的な印象を伴うだけでなくその動作主として「悪人」を連想させる一方、対応する他言語の表現は、動作の表現自体の印象は否定的だが「悪人」の動作主を連想させることはない可能性が示された。仮説2・3の検証は、まず日本語母語話者対象に、アンケートアプリを用いた意識調査により実施した。調査の結果、「つきまとう」「うろつく」などの表現の動作主は類義表現の動作主に比べ印象が悪いことに加え、新聞記事の動作の表現を隠し適当な表現を選択する設問では犯罪者の動作の表現として「つきまとう」「うろつく」などの表現が選択されることがわかった。これらの知見は、すでに所属先紀要、年報で報告したほか、今後も所属学会にて発表予定である。
