【研究目的】本研究の最終目的は、中国人日本語学習者の半母音・拗音に対する知覚識別の手掛かりを探り、日本語の音声習得に必要な音響特徴量の詳細を解明することである。中国人日本語学は、音声生成・知覚の両面において、2母音/o/、/u/ が子音に後続すると、特に半母音、拗音での母音の混同が生じやすくなる。本研究では、これらを解決するために、以下の２点をリサーチ・クエスチョンとして設定し、その成果を日本語非母語話者の学習支援、音声研究への学術的貢献を目指す。１）中国人日本語学習者における半母音「ゆ・よ（/yu, yo/）」 の知覚識別の手掛かりが「フォルマント遷移の傾きにある」と仮定し、音響的に検証を行う。２）「母音→ 半母音→ 拗音」の順に複雑化する音響特徴について、音声知覚の実態を明らかにし、各段階に見られる知覚の手掛かりを体系的に明らかにする。【研究実施計画】令和２年度から聴取実験のために音声録音を行ってきた。令和４年度には東京方言話者の半母音と拗音を含む無意味語の音声録音を行い、日本語レベルが初級から上級までの学習者を対象に録音音声を用いて聴取実験を実施した。令和４年度の結果では、日本語学習時間と母語である中国語の方言の関係に一定の傾向が見られたが、新型コロナ感染症の影響があり、十分な実験参加者が集められなかったことから、個人差によるものか学習時間や母語の方言によるものなのかは明らかにできなかった。令和５年度は令和４年度に得られた結果から音響分析を継続し、合成音声を用いた実験が実施できるように調整を行う予定である。
