项目摘要

本研究では、文章の書き換えによるL2日本語学習者の読解への影響について、思考発話（think-aloud）法を用い、読解中の処理についてオンライン測定を行い、検証することを目的としている。これまでの研究で、読後の理解測定（オフライン測定）は行ってきたが、そこに読解中の過程分析を組み合わせ、オンラインとオフラインの2つの測定から総合的に考察することを目指している。協力者については、母語背景、習熟度と学習環境の影響を抑えるため、研究代表者の担当する語学科目に在籍する英語母語の中級日本語学習者に限定している。令和4年度の前期は、まだコロナ禍にあったため、依然として日本に入国できない留学生がかなりの数に上った。そのため、条件に合う協力者の募集も困難であったし、一人一人と対面で行う方法の調査も困難であったため、実施を断念した。しかし、後期には入国規制が緩和されたため、条件に合致した3名の学習者を対象に調査を実施し、データを収集した。収集したデータは、1）日本語習熟度テスト、2）2つの文章の読解中の思考発話の録音データ（L1英語）、3）読解後の筆記再生データ（L1英語）、4）読解後の多肢選択理解問題の解答（L2日本語で実施）、5）文章材料についてのアンケート、である。データ分析・検討のためには少なくともさらに10名のデータを収集する必要がある。次の令和5年度には引き続きデータ収集を行い、思考発話データの文字化と内容分析を進め、読解中の処理過程を探る予定である。
