项目摘要

本研究は，英語の第二言語学習者が持つ屈折形態素の知識とその処理メカニズムについて，(a)語彙処理，(b)文処理，(c)形態素とそれが持つ意味のマッピングという3つの観点から習得困難性を統合的に説明する仮説の生成を目指すものである。特に，複数形形態素を取り上げ，その処理を英語母語話者のそれと比較することを通じて，学習困難性がどの領域に生じるのかを特定することを明らかにすることを試みる。2022年度は，（c）の領域における実験研究を国際雑誌に発表した。形式と意味のマッピングについては，実験手法が広く普及しているとは言い難い。第一言語話者を対象とした実験研究はあるものの，それを第二言語話者に応用した研究は多くない。その意味で，第二言語話者を対象とした実験研究を発表できたことは評価できると考えている。今回の研究では，ストループ効果と呼ばれる心理学の現象を応用した語数の判断課題を利用した。この課題のロジックは，もし複数形形態素と結びついた複数という意味が習得されていれば，複数形の名詞を1語と判断するのに要する時間は，単数形の名詞を1語と判断するよりも，複数という名詞に付与された情報の干渉によって長くなるであろうという予測に基づいている。実験の結果，日本語を第一言語とする英語学習者は複数形名詞を判断する時間が単数形名詞を判断する時間よりも統計的に有意に長いことが示された。このような結果は，先行研究によって示された母語話者の結果とも同じであることから，（c）の観点では母語話者と同様の知識を持っていると仮定できる。今後は，この結果と（a），（b）の観点がどのような関係を持っているかに焦点をあてた実験を行う。

This study aims to investigate the processing of morphological knowledge in English second language learners, including (a) word processing,(b) text processing,(c) morphological knowledge in English second language learners, and (d) morphological knowledge in English second language learners. In particular, the plural morphemes are selected from the upper part of the list, and the English native speakers are compared with each other. In 2022,(c) the field of research and international research will be launched. Form and meaning are not easy to understand, but they are easy to understand. The first speech speaker's research was conducted on the second speech speaker's research. The meaning of the second language is that the second language speaker is the opposite of the first language speaker. The present study focuses on the application of psychological phenomena to the determination of language problems. The topic of this topic is: plural morphemes, complex morphemes, and complex morphemes. As a result, English learners are able to judge plural nouns and numerical nouns by statistical means. The result of this study is that the native speaker's result is the same as that of the native speaker's knowledge. In the future, the result of (a),(b) and the relationship between the two points will be maintained.
