项目摘要

2020年度および2021年度に引き続き、2022年度も予定通りに研究活動を遂行できませんでした。2020年度からの過去3年間で、私は「データ申請」、「分析」、「論文作成」、「研究報告」、「論文修正」、「学会報告」、そして「論文投稿」までを実施する予定でした。具体的には、共同研究者との打ち合わせ、学生の秘匿記録の利用申請、学生記録の提供をして頂くミネソタ教育省の職員との面談、そして一か月間程の米国訪問などを実施する予定でした。Covid-19と複数の要因の組み合わせが、予定されていた研究活動の実施を阻みました。第一に、共同研究者が博士として大学から卒業したため、学生の秘匿記録を大学のサーバーに保管できなくなりました。そのため、本研究で用いる学生の秘匿記録を管理することを引き受けてくれる追加の共同研究者を探し始めました。しかしながら、いまだに信頼できる人物を見つけられていません。さらに、Onda and Seyler (2020)で用いた学生の秘匿記録を提供する際に担当したMinnesota Department of　Education　（MDE)の顧問弁護士が、2022年3月に離職しました。データ提供をしていただく州教育機関に勤める貴重な人脈を一人失いました。2023年度、2020年からの三年間実施できなかった研究活動を挽回できるように努めます。共同研究者と相談し、MDEの要求を満たす学生記録の保管環境を、どのように準備するかを検討します。
