项目摘要

本研究の目的は、企業家による支援者の動員とその意図せざる結果である。当初は、企業家とその直接的な支援者を研究の射程としていたが、理論研究と事例分析を往復しながら研究を進める中で、分析範囲を空間的・時間的に広げた方が研究意義があることが分かった。従って、企業家とそれが直接動員した支援者だけでなく、彼らの行動に影響を受けて間接的に動員されたプレイヤーも分析に含めて研究を進めた。企業家が支援者の動員に成功して当初目的を達成し、そのことが市場・産業にさらに引き起こす波及効果を分析した。その結果、企業家の意図に反するような結果が起こりうることが分かった。分析対象である靴産業では、靴のファッション性ではなく健康機能の重視を訴える企業家（社会活動団体）の活動によって靴小売店が動員され、彼らの店にシューフィッターが広まった。同時に、人々の足の健康意識が高まった。こうした成功が、インソール市場に影響を与えた。インソール市場の主流製品は消臭・防菌機能インソールであったが、足の健康意識の高まりにチャンスを見出だしたメーカーが歩行サポート・インソールの展開を開始したのである。さらにそれにチャンスを見出だした雑貨企業が参入することで、歩行サポート・インソールはファッション雑貨化していった。雑貨店にて靴とは関係なく販売されるファッション雑貨としてのインソールは、足の健康の観点からは疑問視される製品であった。つまり、社会活動団体の当初の活動の成功が、意図せざる結果につながった。2022年度中は、英文書籍（単著）の原稿の執筆を進めた。当初の計画では、海外ジャーナルへの投稿を行う計画であったのに対して発表媒体が変更になった。しかし英文書籍出版の機会を得たため、そちらを進めることにした。いずれにしても研究成果を英語で公開することに変更はない。2023年度中の出版を計画している。
