本研究は、若年母親を対象としたベビーマッサージプログラムを企画し、母子の心身に及ぼす影響について検討する事である。本検討結果を踏まえ、若年母親へのベビーマッサージを活用した子育て支援や居場所づくりへの一助につなげる事である。令和4年度は、所属大学の倫理審査委員会における研究承認を経る事ができた。そして、研究地域における若年母親を対象としたベビーマッサージ教室を開催し調査を開始した。若年母親の支援に携わる施設に対して、公募チラシと依頼文を用いて説明し周知依頼を行った。ベビーマッサージ講師は、地域で実践を行っている方に依頼し同意をえて協力いただいた。新型コロナウィルス感染拡大状況の落ち着いた時期も考慮した。教室は感染対策を考慮し、少人数で実施し複数回にわけて開催した。公募チラシに対し申し込みのあった対象者となる母親に対して、依頼文と研究の趣旨、ベビーマッサージ中における調査内容について説明し同意を得て調査協力をいただいた。調査項目である各測定値（母親：体表面温度、脈拍、血圧、児：体表面温度、心拍、質問紙）も母児ともにデータ収集している段階である。現在、これらのデータを集約し、分析を開始しているが、母親の体温変化や心理面での変化に関する特徴がうかがえ、児においても体温変化に関する特徴が見えてきている段階である。また、調査と並行してコロナ禍の為オンライン開催された関連学会に参加し、若年母親に関する支援や児に関する調査、昨今の状況をふまえた今後の子育て支援の示唆について情報収集を行った。母親自身が他者から尊重され守られる体験た周囲の地域社会が必要な支援を怠った時、次世代への虐待が引き起こされるとの意見からも、若年母親の支援について地域性も踏まえた上での重要性を再認識した。
