Verification of the effects of baby massage to evaluate from the psychological and physical sides of mother-to- infants

1.本研究从生理和心理两个角度考察了婴儿按摩对母亲和婴儿的影响。2.采用客观指标研究婴儿按摩对母亲及其3个月大婴儿母子互动的影响。得到了以下结果。(1)结果表明，对母亲来说，给婴儿按摩可以促进身体和心理上的压力减轻。(2)对于婴儿来说，从母亲那里接受触觉刺激可以减少压力，并可能促进语言(例如说话)和运动功能(例如身体运动)的发展。

1. This study examines the effects of baby massage from both physical and psychological perspectives in mothers who give massages and infants who receive them. 2. We conducted a study to examine the effects of baby massage on mother-child interaction using objective indicators in mothers and their 3-month-old infants. The following results were obtained. (1) The results suggested that for mothers, giving massages to their infants promotes stress reduction both physically and psychologically. (2) For infants, it was suggested that tactile stimulation received from their mothers reduces stress, and possibly promotes the developement of language (e.g., speaking) and motor function (e.g., physical movement).
