本研究では、知的障害者のライフコースとQuality of life（QOL)の特徴や支援の課題を明らかにする。2022年度は、国内においては、知的障害者（以下、本人）28名とその親から協力を得て、インタビュー調査を実施した。協力者には、知的障害が重度の人を約半数含み、本人からは部分的に回答が可能だった場合を含め14名から回答を得た。分析の途中経過として、18歳～40代の子を持つ13名の親の語りについて、子の学校時代の経験に焦点を当てて分析を行った。学校選択や入学後の環境要因（教師、クラスメイト、学校文化など）は、肯定的、否定的な経験の違いにつながっていることを明らかにした。国外調査は、COVID感染拡大防止措置等の状況を鑑み、オンライン調査を実施した。オーストラリアからは、本人5名と親1名の協力を得ることができた。デンマークについても、調査協力先との調整を続けたが、オンライン調査の協力者を得るには至らなかった。中間報告として、2022年10月に開催された特別ニーズ教育学会にて口頭発表を行った。また、2023年5月に行われるNordic Network on Disability Researchでの学会発表を予定している。これら調査と並行し、過去の研究で得たデンマークなど各国のインタビューデータの見直し、分析作業を行い、3月末のデンマーク渡航に向けて調査準備を進めた。また、共同研究者らと対面やメール等で、調査や分析の方針について議論した。国連障害者権利委員会の総括所見も踏まえ、教育を受ける機会、仕事や住まいなどの選択についての本人や親の経験をQOLとの関連で検討した。

This research aims to clarify the characteristics and support issues of healthcare and Quality of life (QOL) for known obstacles.
