本研究は、生存に関わる誤嚥性肺炎の予防を目的とし、医工連携研究で開発したウェアラブルデバイスにより計測した嚥下音・呼吸音データを元に、定量的データに基づいて嚥下機能の変化を検証することを目的とする。さらに、定量的データによる嚥下機能評価の基準策定に挑戦する。本研究申請時の実施計画では、令和４年度を最終年度と位置づけ、主にデータ分析および成果発表を予定していた。しかしながら、長引く新型コロナ感染症の影響を受け、令和３年度でデータ計測に必要な患者が十分に確保できなかったため、本研究実施期間の延長を申請した。新型コロナ感染症の影響は継続しているものの、実験を実施する病院や患者の協力を得て、数名の回復期病棟における入院患者を対象として、数ヶ月間で複数回の嚥下音・呼吸音計測を実施しており、得られたデータに関して随時分析を進めている。

The purpose of this study is to investigate and quantify the role of respiratory function in the prevention of pneumonia associated with survival. The evaluation of functional evaluation and benchmarking of quantitative data is carried out. The implementation plan of this study is scheduled for the first, second and fourth years, and the final year is scheduled for the second, third and fourth years. The effect of new infections on patients is expected to increase in the next three years, and the duration of this study is expected to increase. The impact of new infections on hospital patients was investigated and analyzed at various times during the recovery period.
