项目摘要

令和4年度はバブルの発生時点予測モデルの理論分析に関する結果の取りまとめを行なった．この取りまとめは分析で得られた結果を，資産価格バブル以外の関連分野の知見と統合して考察することを目的としており，当該研究の学術的位置付けをより明確にするという意義がある．令和4年度の取り組みの主な結果は次の二点に集約される．第一に，国際金融分野における国家間を跨いだ資金移動の特性の説明に本研究の結果が応用できる可能性があることがわかった．国際金融の分野では，一国の経済状況の悪化によって発生する国家間の急激な資金移動の原因を突き止めることが主な課題の一つとなっており，近年の研究では資産価格バブルによってそのような資金移動が生じる理論的可能性が示されている．本研究のバブルの発生予測に関する理論的結果を応用すれば，このような資金移動がいつ発生するかをバブル理論に基づいて予測できる可能性がある．第二に，人々の経済情勢に関する予測の不確かさの度合いの大小が，バブルの発生時点の決定に影響を及ぼし得ることがわかった．本研究が提案する理論においては「今日購入した資産が明日適正価格以上で売却できるか」という人々の将来の予測に関する問いが，バブル発生時点の決定に際して大きな役割を果たしている．近年，将来の予測に関する不確実性が経済に及ぼす影響についての研究が急速に進んでいるが，不確実性がバブルの発生時点の決定に及ぼす影響については分析されておらず，本研究の結果はこのような経済不確実性に関する研究の文脈においても学術的価値を持つものと推察される．この不確実性に関する考察に際して，不確実性の変動が経済に及ぼす影響についての実証分析を行ったところ，不確実性の変動が先行研究で考えられているよりも複雑なメカニズムを通じて経済に影響を及ぼしていることが示唆された．この結果を論文として執筆し学術誌への投稿を行った．
