项目摘要

我が国の飽和交通流率の基本値に相当する値の実態を明らかにするために、これまでの観測結果を使い、飽和交通流率の変化の要因を検討した。今年度も新型コロナウイルスの影響のため、実際に調査を行うことが難しく、これまでに取得したデータや提供データ等を用いて、車頭時間分布の作成や飽和交通流率の分析を行った。また、文献調査を行い、既存データの活用方法やその他の分析手法の検討を行った。その結果、観光シーズンや休日に交通量が卓越するような箇所においては、飽和交通流率の低下が報告されている都心部の車頭時間と比べてさらに車頭時間は長くなる可能性があることがわかった。しかしながら、これらの観測結果は休日に観測したもののみを対象として分析しているため、今後は平日の観測も実施し、同一地点における平日と休日の違いを分析することで、観光交通やサンデードライバーの影響を明らかにできると考えている。また、車頭時間分布の作成により発進遅れが及ぶ台数についても検討した。発進遅れが及ぶ台数については過去と比べても、そしていずれの地点においても大きな違いはなく、4台目以降になると車頭時間の変動が小さくなることを確認した。一方で、とりわけ大きな車頭時間が発生しているものもあり、サイクル長や青時間長、通過順番（滞留台数）による車頭時間の違いやばらつきについても検討を進めた。しかしながら、これらのデータのバリエーションが少ないため、今後はこれらの観点から調査地点を選定し、飽和交通流率の観測および分析が必要であると考えている。また、車線別、時間別といった観点からもデータを整理し、飽和交通流率に与える影響について検討していくことを考えている。
