本研究は都内在住の高齢者を対象に、短・長期的な絵本読み聞かせが高齢者の口腔機能に及ぼす影響を検討し、社会参加型のオーラルフレイル予防法の構築を目 指した。令和2年度は短期的な絵本の読み聞かせが高齢者の口腔機能に及ぼす影響を明らかにすることを目的とした。本研究は都内2地域を対象に実施し、令和2 年10月から令和3年3月にかけて測定を実施した。本研究の対象者は都内在住の高齢者であり、週1回、計12回の絵本読み聞かせ講座に参加した。絵本読み聞かせ 講座では子どもへ絵本を読み聞かせる手法を体験・学習する活動を行うとともに、発声練習や口腔機能のトレーニングを実施した。絵本読み聞かせ講座の前後に おいて、口腔機能評価するための測定会を実施した。口腔機能については、オーラルディアドコキネシスによる構音機能の測定、EAT-10質問紙を用いた嚥下機能 の測定を実施した。構音機能の評価には1秒当たりのオーラルディアドコキネシス得点、嚥下機能の評価にはEAT-10の合計得点を使用した。同時に、年齢、性別、身長、体重、握力、社会参加頻度、既往歴、通院歴、喫煙歴を属性評価のために調査した。令和3年3月にデータ収集を終了し、現在、取得したデータの解析 を実施している。令和2年度は緊急事態宣言により対象者が限定されてしまったため、令和3年度以降も継続して測定を実施する予定である。本研究は重複制限により、令和2年度で研究費の辞退を行ったが、今年度以降も継続して測定を実施し、学会発表および論文執筆を行う予定である。
