Early monuments in the region of Mittelelbe-Saale in their cultural andenvironmental context. A study of the Baalberge Culture

Since 1st June, 2014 I have been working on the Baalberge culture with special focus on Saxony-Anhalt. This is one of my projects within the framework of a Heisenberg research fellowship.Since the last comprehensive study about the Baalberge culture was published more than 45 years ago and many new sites and finds have been discovered since then, one aim of this project is an update of the state of research, including drawings of the most important objects (in most cases a desideratum), as well as an analysis of the material. This application aims at receiving funds for drawings for the publication (350 vessels, 225 sherds and small finds).
