本研究はブータン国家主導の有機農業政策や現実的な近代化政策との合間におかれた小規模家族農家がいかに柔軟にそれに対応しているかを実証的に辿り、家畜飼養と食肉習慣の変容に焦点を当て、よりアグロエコロジカルな食農体系がどのように築かれうるかについて考察することを目指している。本年度は、昨年度夏に実践したブータンにおける日常食の記録の整理、分析を進め、本として出版するため、出版社との交渉を進めている。昨年度に続き、ブータンへの現地フィールド調査が実現しなかったため、主に、「食の主権」をテーマとした論文などを中心に出版することとなった。主な出版物として、食の民主主義、食の主権を政策として取り組んできる事例を紹介する「ミュニシパリズムによる食の民主化とフードウェブの再構築ー食と農から築く市民による自治の取り組み」と題する論文を季刊農業と経済（2022）にまとめ出版した。共著論文になるが、MeGreevy et al."Sustainable agrifood systems for a post-growth world" Nature Sustainability(2022);McGreevy et al. "Learning, playing, and experimenting with critical food futures"をFontiers in Sustainable Food Systems (2022)の査読付き論文を２本投稿した。その他、これまでのブータン研究の紹介として、第２３回日本有機農業学会大会にて、「ブータンの有機農業１００％への道のり」と題する口頭発表を行った。
